There are very few occasions which can drag the film maker away from behind the camera and film festivals is one such occasion. Not only do film festivals provide the ultimate networking opportunity but they can provide an excellent place to screen your work. For the amateur film maker the film festival enables close contact to other film makers and provide a huge increase in inspiration and motivation for the aspiring film maker.
